Here's another floral lace design pattern from a Lace book and again you'd see lots of similarity with Tiffany's design, an antique or antique styled diamond brooch cost approx. US$35,000. It's from my "ancient" jewels database, so couldn't include more informations. Anyhow, it's a good reference materials for jewelry designers.

During my recent diamond jewelry design, I have discovered Tiffany's jewelry design "secret". I called it a secret for it's not known to everyone (yet). Well, it's a fancy lace pattern in a Lace book and immediately I recognized that are the same with Tiffany's latest 2 diamond pendants. I then pondered which came first, or was it a coincidence on designs. Nonetheless, this is a great findings on Tiffany's designer source of inspirations. My bro, Mick is a free-lance painter, good at Chinese water color painting, Chinese calligraphy and western water color, had held several exhibitions before. These are few jewelry sketches he drew for me as gifts to display in my showroom. Left one is Van Cleef & Arpels Butterfly Ruby Ring while the other choker, he designed it just to have fun. We had real great times together! So longing for his next visit!
This GREAT Chaumet (Chaumet maestri orafi dal 1780) jewelry book was obtained from my "Milan" trip in 2002 and it becomes one of my greatest collectibles ever! I discovered it in a bookstore in the square (Duomo di S.Maria Nascente), no second thoughts, I paid for it at US$40 approx. and dragged this weight 2 pounds+ jewelry book all day long. Thus it's so memorable in every sense. It's in Italian and contained precious manuscripts / archives / jewelry sketches of the greatest jeweler of the century.
Why there's such a book "The devil wears PRADA"?! I'm definitely not a devil but a vanity girl! That sounds better! Yeap... a lot better! That explain human beings are complicated and do not want to be labeled by others but by themselves only. What so great about PRADA? Why there's such large PRADA "population"? To me, I love the simplicity but extravaganza design, excellent craftsmanship.... some kind of style! This is one of the hard to find Prada evening bag! It comes with a Prada Vanity Mirror.
